Anastasia Walhovd
Archaeological Technician
Anastasia Walhovd formed Makoons Consulting in 2018 to provide archaeological field technician services. Makoons Consulting and its services has been expanding ever since. Previous to her work in cultural resource management and archaeology, Anastasia Walhovd worked in natural resources and legal administration.
Anastasia identifies as Ojibwe, Norwegian, French, and German and is an enrolled member of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa (Ojibwe) in Wisconsin and a descendant of the White Earth Nation in Minnesota.
